Peacemaking: An Interfaith Imperative

Moving Peacemaking to the Center of our Faith Traditions

Valley Interfaith Peacemaking Forum: People of faith who grieve over the incalculable destruction of the war in Iraq, and yearn to bring peacemaking and preventing war into the center of their faith communities are invited to: Peacemaking: An Interfaith Imperative–Moving Peacemaking to the Center of our Faith Traditions. We will hear from Muslim, Jewish and Christian clergy and faith leaders about the moral imperative of peacemaking in each of the Abrahamic faith traditions. Panelists who are involved in local efforts to repair the human devastation of the war in Iraq will talk about ways in which valley residents can become involved in that work. Participants will leave with a toolkit for local action, and will have the opportunity to connect with others in this area committed to this work.
